About this event

Updated on 9 de September, 2026
Do you know what happens in our environment during a solar eclipse? In this free talk at Maloka, you will discover how a solar eclipse becomes a natural laboratory to observe changes in Earth's atmosphere. Experts will explain how temperature, wind, clouds, and other atmospheric phenomena respond when the Moon temporarily blocks the Sun's light. It is a unique opportunity to understand astrometeorology and its impact on our climate. The event will feature special guest Cristian Goez and will be moderated by Sigrid Falla, director of Experience Architecture at Maloka. It will take place in the Digital Room of Maloka, an interactive space that invites scientific reflection. If you cannot attend in person, you can follow the live broadcast on Maloka's YouTube channel. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to secure your spot, as capacity is limited. Admission is free, but prior registration is required through the official link. Wear comfortable clothing and bring your questions to participate in the discussion. Maloka is an interactive science and technology museum in Bogotá, known for its focus on scientific outreach and experiential education.
