FEST.HEX at the Bogotá Planetarium

FEST.HEX is a festival that merges digital art, electronic music, and immersive technology at Bogotá's most spectacular venue: the Planetarium dome. For the first time, this event transforms the dome into a canvas for 360° projections that interact with live performances, creating a sensory experience hard to forget. The combination of surround sound, generative visuals, and the planetarium's unique architecture turns each show into a hypnotic journey. The program includes three live audiovisual shows by national and international artists, plus five dome films ranging from scientific documentaries to experimental animation pieces. Shows run from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with staggered entry so the audience can explore the different rooms and enjoy interactive installations in the lobby. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to check in and explore the installations. Dome access is granted on a first-come, first-served basis according to each show's schedule. Comfortable, warm clothing is suggested, as the planetarium interior maintains a cool constant temperature. The Planetarium has wheelchair access and adapted restrooms. The Bogotá Planetarium, operated by Idartes, is a cultural and scientific landmark of the city. Its 22-meter dome offers one of the best immersive experiences in Latin America. FEST.HEX joins the September 2026 program, consolidating the planetarium as a space that engages with new trends in digital art and electronic music.
