About this event
Updated on 22 de May, 2026
Experience a unique and unrepeatable concert with the Triptych – International Day of Ethnic and Cultural Diversity at the Parque Metropolitano Biblioteca El Tintal. This event, organized by Bogotá, mi Ciudad, mi Casa and the Escenarios Móviles of the Instituto Distrital de las Artes (Idartes), celebrates the multicultural richness and plurality of knowledge of the Colombian capital. Enjoy ancestral rhythms and sounds performed by groups Markawara from UniMinuto, Carlitos y sus tambores, Mayelé and Awaré, offering a day full of music and tradition.
In addition to the musical program, you can explore local entrepreneurship offerings from the Hecho en Bogotá strategy of the District Secretariat of Economic Development. There will be artisan products, typical gastronomy, and cultural samples that complement the experience. The event takes place outdoors, in a family-friendly and festive atmosphere, ideal for sharing with friends and loved ones.
We recommend arriving early, wearing comfortable clothes, sunscreen, and a hat, as the event is outdoors. The park has green areas, so you can bring a blanket to sit on. Admission is free and no prior registration is required. The nearest TransMilenio station is Biblioteca El Tintal, and there are also SITP routes that reach the area.
The Parque Metropolitano Biblioteca El Tintal is an emblematic space in the Kennedy locality, known for its modern library and extensive green areas. It is a cultural meeting point that hosts community and artistic events throughout the year. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate Bogotá's ethnic and cultural diversity in a unique setting.
